I Can Touch My Toes!!!!!!!

It was only a couple of days ago that I was writing about how far away progress felt. That I was feeling uninspired and that I still couldn’t touch my toes. I know, I know. What do I expect from only three weeks of ballet practice?

CAN TOUCH MY TOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn’t believe it when it happened. Obviously all the stretching has paid off. And a hint to any other complete beginner ballet/stretching peeps out there, it is important to stretch from the hips. Stretching from the top part of your back will only create pain. 

You can see in these photos that the major difference is in the hips. They are much flatter in the second pic.
